Halloween Table Reservations in NYC 2026: How Booking Works
Booking a Halloween table in New York? Here's how it works on Eventbrite, why the reservation fee and the minimum spend are two separate things, and how to split it fairly.

A table changes the shape of the night. You stop hovering at the edge of the room. You get a place to come back to, a group that stays together, and one less decision at 1 AM. Before you book one for Halloween, it helps to know exactly how the booking works.
The short answer: Halloween table reservations for these 2026 events are booked on Eventbrite, one listing per event. The table reservation fee you pay when you book is separate from the venue's minimum spend and does not count toward it. Every table is 21+, and guest counts vary by event and table, so check our VIP tables page before you book.

How it works, step by step
- Pick the night and the event. Tables are booked per event, for example Heaven & Hell at Eden on Halloween night or The Descent at Submercer on Friday. The events page shows every night side by side.
- Match the table to your headcount. Guest counts differ by event and by table, so check them first.
- Book on Eventbrite. The table is reserved through the event's official Eventbrite listing, where you pay the table reservation fee.
- Plan for the minimum spend. Separately, the venue sets a minimum spend for the table. Budget for it from the start.
- Bring the group, and everyone's ID. Every event is 21+, so every guest needs valid photo ID.
Before you pay, read the table listing on Eventbrite in full, including what the booking covers and its refund terms.
Fee vs. minimum spend: the part people miss
There are two separate numbers, and mixing them up is the fastest way to break a group budget.
- The table reservation fee is what you pay on Eventbrite to reserve the table.
- The venue's minimum spend is the amount your table commits to spending at the venue.
The reservation fee does not count toward the minimum spend. So your group's real total is:
reservation fee + minimum spend, not the minimum spend alone.
Get that sum in front of everyone before anyone books, and nobody is surprised on the night.
Who can sit at the table
- Everyone is 21+. Each guest brings valid photo ID, including the friend who swears they never get carded.
- Plan to the table size. Each table is listed for a set number of guests. Size your booking to the group you'll actually have, rather than assuming you can add people later.
- Name your guests early. Know who is coming, and make sure each of them knows the night, the venue and the start time.
Splitting the cost with a group
Tables run smoothly when the money is settled before the night, not after.
- One booker. One person books on Eventbrite and holds the confirmation. Everyone else pays them.
- Agree the math first. Total = reservation fee + minimum spend. Divide by the headcount, or agree a different split if some people plan to order much more than others.
- Collect before you book. Ask everyone to send their share to the booker first, using whatever payment app your group already uses.
- Decide what happens if someone drops out. Does their share stay in, or does someone take their place? Settle it now, and check the listing's refund terms so the answer matches reality.
- Keep one shared note. Who paid, how much and when. It ends arguments before they start.
Planning tables across several nights
The weekend runs Thursday, Oct 29 to Sunday, Nov 1. If your group wants tables on more than one night, treat each night as its own project.
- Each night is a separate booking. Its own Eventbrite listing, its own reservation fee, its own minimum spend.
- Choose an anchor night. If Halloween on the actual date matters most, that's Saturday, Oct 31, at Heaven & Hell at Eden. Book the table there and use tickets on the other nights.
- Rotate the booker. A different person books each night, which spreads the upfront cost.
- Resize each night. Your group on Friday may not be your group on Saturday. Match each table to that night's headcount.
- Budget per night. Write a separate total for each night, not one weekend figure.
- Mind Friday. The Descent at Submercer and Masquerade Inferno at LouLou run at the same time in different neighborhoods. A table is at one venue, so choose one.
Table or tickets?
- A table suits groups who want a base, are comfortable sharing a minimum spend, and want to stay together all night.
- Tickets suit solo guests, pairs and small groups who like to move around. Tickets for every event are on Eventbrite.
Before you book: a checklist
- Night and event chosen
- Headcount confirmed, everyone 21+ with valid ID
- Table size checked against your group
- Reservation fee + minimum spend added up, split agreed
- Money collected by the booker
- Eventbrite listing read in full
