NYC Halloween Weekend 2026 Guide: Four Nights, Three Routes

Halloween weekend in New York runs Thursday to Sunday in 2026. Here are the four nights at a glance and three routes built for different levels of stamina.

New York's Halloween weekend runs Thursday to Sunday this year. The hard part isn't finding a party. It's pacing: four nights, different neighborhoods, and one body that has to get through all of it.

The short answer: NYC Halloween weekend 2026 runs Thursday, Oct 29 to Sunday, Nov 1. A full four-night route goes Dead Disco at PUBLIC Hotel (Thursday), Masquerade Inferno at LouLou or The Descent at Submercer (Friday), Heaven & Hell at Eden (Saturday, Halloween night) and LUNA: Day of the Dead in Brooklyn (Sunday, from 2 PM). Every event is 21+, and tickets are on Eventbrite.

The weekend at a glance

  • Thursday, Oct 29: Dead Disco at PUBLIC Hotel, Lower East Side, 10 PM – 4 AM
  • Friday, Oct 30: Masquerade Inferno at LouLou, Chelsea, 9 PM – 4 AM, or The Descent at Submercer, SoHo, 10 PM – 4 AM
  • Saturday, Oct 31: Heaven & Hell at Eden, Midtown, 10 PM – 5 AM
  • Sunday, Nov 1: LUNA: Day of the Dead, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, 2 PM – 2 AM

All five parties, with full addresses, are on the events page.

Now the routes.

Route 1: The Full Four

For: anyone who cleared the calendar and means it.

How to survive it:

  • Sleep late on Friday and Saturday. Protect those mornings like appointments.
  • Eat before every night, not after.
  • Build all four costumes on one base outfit, so each night is a swap, not a rebuild.
  • Treat Sunday as the cooldown. It starts at 2 PM, so you can arrive rested and leave on your own schedule.

Route 2: The Downtown Double

For: people based downtown who want two strong nights close to home.

  • Thursday: Dead Disco at PUBLIC Hotel, 215 Chrystie St, Lower East Side.
  • Friday: The Descent at Submercer, 147 Mercer St, SoHo.

Why it works: The Lower East Side and SoHo sit close together in lower Manhattan, so neither night needs a long trip. You get a rooftop and an underground room, two very different moods, back to back. Saturday stays free for a house party, a costume emergency, or sleep.

Pacing tip: Thursday's 4 AM finish and Friday's 10 PM start are a tight turnaround. Plan an afternoon nap like it's part of the itinerary, because it is.

Route 3: The Long Halloween

For: anyone who wants Halloween on the actual date, plus a softer landing.

  • Saturday: Heaven & Hell at Eden, 20 W 36th St, Midtown, 10 PM – 5 AM.
  • Sunday: LUNA: Day of the Dead, 60 Furman St, Brooklyn, 2 PM – 2 AM.

Why it works: Halloween night, then the Day of the Dead the next afternoon. Two traditions on two consecutive days, one in Midtown, one on the Brooklyn waterfront. The second night asks for a different look, so pack a change of mood as well as a change of clothes.

Pacing tip: Saturday's late finish and Sunday's afternoon start sit close together. Daylight saving time ends at 2 AM on Sunday, Nov 1, so the clocks go back an hour overnight. Let your phone handle the change, set alarms by it, and plan to reach Brooklyn later in the afternoon rather than at 2 PM sharp.

Tickets and tables across the weekend

Tickets for every event are on Eventbrite, one listing per event, so each night is its own purchase. You don't have to book everything at once, but buying each night as soon as you're sure keeps the group honest.

Groups who want a base on one night and a lighter plan on the others can compare tables by group size on the VIP tables page. One approach that keeps budgets sane: a table for the night that matters most to your group, tickets for the rest.

Getting around

  • Thursday and Friday stay in lower Manhattan and Chelsea. Saturday moves to Midtown. Sunday crosses the river to Brooklyn.
  • Most subway lines run overnight, less often after midnight. Check the MTA for weekend service changes.
  • Decide each night's ride home before you go in, not at closing.
  • Every event is 21+. Bring valid photo ID every night, not just the first.
