21+ Halloween Events in NYC This Weekend, Night by Night
A calendar-order shortlist of 21+ Halloween events in NYC, from Thursday's rooftop opener to Sunday's Day of the Dead close. Facts first, tickets on Eventbrite.
Halloweekend NYC · Updated October 15, 2026 · 4 min read
Halloween in New York no longer fits into one night. In 2026 it stretches from Thursday to Sunday, and the real question isn't whether you go out. It's which night, and which door.
The short answer: The 21+ shortlist for Oct 29 – Nov 1, 2026 runs in calendar order: Dead Disco at PUBLIC Hotel on Thursday, Masquerade Inferno at LouLou or The Descent at Submercer on Friday, Heaven & Hell at Eden on Saturday (Halloween night), and LUNA: Day of the Dead at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge on Sunday from 2 PM. Tickets for each one are sold on Eventbrite.
How to read this list
Every entry follows the same pattern: the night, the hours, the address, and a one-line read on who it suits. Everything here is 21+, and every event is presented by Halloween NYC 2026, operated by Nine & Up Group LLC. If you'd rather see the whole calendar on one screen, browse every event and come back here to decide.
No rankings. No hype. Just the four nights, laid out so you can plan around work, friends and how many late nights you actually have in you.
Thursday, Oct 29: the early start
Dead Disco at PUBLIC Hotel
- Hours: 10 PM – 4 AM
- Venue: Micro Club / Roof at PUBLIC Hotel, 215 Chrystie St, Lower East Side
- Age: 21+
- Suits: people who want to open the weekend before everyone else does
Thursday is for the impatient. The concept is disco that refused to stay buried: mirror-ball glamour with an afterlife twist, in a Lower East Side hotel that puts a micro club and a roof under one name. Going out on Thursday also leaves Friday and Saturday open for a second night, if you want one.
Dead Disco at PUBLIC Hotel has the full details and the Eventbrite link.
Friday, Oct 30: two doors, two moods
Friday splits the city. Same night, two neighborhoods, two very different rooms. Each is its own ticket, so choose one and commit.
Masquerade Inferno at LouLou
- Hours: 9 PM – 4 AM
- Venue: LouLou, 176 8th Ave, Chelsea
- Age: 21+
- Suits: anyone whose costume starts with a mask
The earliest start of the late nights. A masquerade with heat in its name, on 8th Avenue in Chelsea. The pleasure here is simple: for a few hours, nobody is quite sure who you are. Masquerade Inferno at LouLou has the details.
The Descent at Submercer
- Hours: 10 PM – 4 AM
- Venue: Submercer, 147 Mercer St, SoHo
- Age: 21+
- Suits: people who prefer their nightlife below street level
Underground in SoHo, below the street. If Friday is your one big night and you want it to feel like a secret, start here. The Descent at Submercer lists everything you need.
Saturday, Oct 31: Halloween night itself
Heaven & Hell at Eden
- Hours: 10 PM – 5 AM
- Venue: Eden, 20 W 36th St, Midtown
- Age: 21+
- Suits: groups who want the actual date, and the latest finish on this list
This is the night with the date on it. Eden is multi-level, and the concept asks one question: which side are you on? Pick a floor, pick a side, or split your group between the two. Running until 5 AM, it closes later than anything else here.
Planning it with friends? You can compare tables by group size on our VIP tables page before you settle on tickets.
Sunday, Nov 1: the last word
LUNA: Day of the Dead
- Hours: 2 PM – 2 AM
- Venue: 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge – Harriet's Rooftop & Lounge, 60 Furman St, Brooklyn
- Age: 21+
- Suits: anyone who wants daylight, or a gentler finale
The only event on this list that starts in the afternoon. LUNA begins on a Brooklyn rooftop while it's still light and carries on into the night, closing the weekend with the Day of the Dead. LUNA: Day of the Dead has the full page.
If you can only do one night
- Want the real date? Saturday, Heaven & Hell at Eden.
- Want open sky? Thursday at PUBLIC Hotel, or Sunday at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge.
- Costume-first? Friday at LouLou, mask on.
- Want it to feel hidden? Friday at Submercer.
- Can't face another 4 AM? Sunday. LUNA starts at 2 PM.
Two nights or more
Nothing stops you from stacking. Thursday and Sunday bookend the weekend with two rooftops. Friday and Saturday give you the mask and then the date. The only clash is Friday itself, where LouLou and Submercer run at the same time in different neighborhoods.
Whatever you pick, each night is a separate Eventbrite listing, so you buy each one on its own event page.
Before you buy
Tickets are on Eventbrite. Every event page here links straight to the official listing, so start from the page rather than a search result or a reposted link. Bring valid photo ID: every event is 21+.
For a second angle on the same nights, the Halloween NYC 2026 blog has more on each night.
Official ticket checkout is provided through Eventbrite.
